RSS's New Uniform

All the workers of RSS were wearing a black cap, full sleeve white shirt, leather belt, Khaki Shorts and brown socks as a part of their uniform. Today Puujaneeya Sarsanghchalakji Dr Mohanji Bhagwat has introduced their new Ganvesh that replaced white shirt by white t-shirt/shirt, leather belt with a canvas belt and khaki pant with black or blue trouser. However, the bamboo stick will remain a part of the new RSS uniform dress.

The process of changing dress was first introduced in 2009 But, no one has argued strongly and the case remained unchanged. In 2015, it was declared that RSS will change the old uniform but there was no fixed date for release.

"Even though the readiness of the society to work with the Sangh on different issues has increased, the change in uniform has been made to take care of the comfort level and convenience while working. The transition heralds the change in the Sangh in tune with the changing times,"
Said Manmohan Vaidya, head of the RSS communications dept.

More than 8 lac trousers are distributed among the members of Sangh. Out of it, 6 lac were stitched and 2 lac unstitched  are submitted at RSS office for sewing.

This shift reflects the Dr Bhagwatji's mentality of changing with world. Hope people will like the new uniform of RSS.
