New Delhi - Central board of secondary education (CBSE) has declared the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Results 2016 on Tuesday before the expected date. This time, CBSE has announced NEET phase 1 and phase 2 results at the same time. Candidates can check their NEET 2016 results online on official website www.cbseresults.nic.in.

CBSE NEET

Every year CBSE conducts an online examination named "National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test" in order for admission for admission in various Medical,BDS courses in Medical and Dental colleges. It is applicable only those who are approved by Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India.

This year NEET examination was divided into two phases.
  1. NEET Phase 1 and 
  2. NEET Phase 2 
NEET Phase 1 was conducted by CBSE board on 1st May 2016. Approx. 6 lac candidates across the India has appeared for the CBSE NEET 2016 Phase 1 examination just after the supreme court has announced that it is mandatory to appear in NEET in order to get admission in medical colleges in India.

There were many rumors about NEET 2016. It was likely to be canceled by appeal from the general board (gseb) students and parents. Finally,  Supreme court of India has made it compulsory for all medical students. First time 

As many candidates didn't appear for CBSE NEET Phase - I, NEET Phase 2 examination was conducted on 24th July 2016 by CBSE board after the judgment by Honourable supreme court of India.

CBSE National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test exam results 2016 declared one day before the expected date. It was likely to be declared on the 17th August on Wednesday, but CBSE announced NEET 2016 results surprising on their portal (cbseresults.nic.in) on 16th August.

Steps to check CBSE NEET Results 2016 online


  1. Go to official website : www.cbseresults.nic.in
  2. Click on " NEET Exam Results - 2016".
  3. Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth in boxes.
  4. Click on submit button.
  5. Your CBSE NEET Results will appear on the screen.
  6. Save it for personal usage.
